In Memory of Tom Sledd; friend, confidant and co-founder of NET Training Institute. Tom was known for his easy smile, his soft Kentucky drawl and, most of all, his deep compassion for hurting people. He always made time to listen to the hearts of people, beyond the words and demeanor; he was never put off by an exterior marked by the harshness of life. As a man in long term recovery who became an addiction professional, he used his talents to inspire others to join him in this work. Tom’s many contributions to the NET Institute as a cofounder, board member, and senior instructor will have lasting impact because of his dedication to academic and professional standards. But of greater value, was Tom’s ability to touch and transform lives with the love of his Heavenly Father.
